All Square At Day's Park.......

Swans 3 Poole Borough 3

Swans shared the points and 6 goals under the lights at Day's Park in The Dorset Premier League.

An explosive start under the floodlights saw Poole Borough take an early lead, with Dan Mirto glancing a close-range effort past Swanage's keeper Taylor Hibbs just three minutes into the game. However, the Swans responded immediately when Ocean Smith levelled just a minute later with a well-placed shot across the Borough keeper.

Swanage suffered an early blow when their centre-forward, Josh Reavenall-Nuete, was forced off with a hamstring injury in the 15th minute, with Connor Butler coming on as his replacement. The Swans pressed on regardless, and they took the lead in the 25th minute when defender Ogun Gundogdu headed in from a free kick.

As half time approached, Ocean Smith, who had been a constant threat, extended Swanage's lead to 3-1 with a brilliant solo run, finishing superbly to complete his brace and put the home side firmly in control. H.T. 3-1.

The Hornets were determined in the second half to claw their way back into the game. Just five minutes after the restart, Stephen Dennis pulled a goal back for the visitors, making it 3-2 with a tidy finish. Taylor Hibbs then made an important save to preserve the Swans narrow lead.

The Swans had chances to extend their advantage, with Charlie Brassington setting up Cohen Lee with a fine pass, who narrowly missed the target. Ocean Smith also produced a great pass, but Poole Borough's keeper James pulled off a brilliant save to deny Cohen Lee again.

In the 68th minute, Poole Borough's Conor Jevon equalized with a stunning shot from outside the box, leaving Hibbs no chance and bringing the score to 3-3.

The final stages of the game were frantic, with both sides pushing for a winner. Swans Stephen Pryor saw his goal-bound header cleared off the line by a Poole Borough defender, denying the home side a late victory.

Despite being down at half time, Poole Borough staged a remarkable comeback to earn a share of the points, thrilling the Day's Park crowd with a six-goal spectacle.
